Revolution Hairdressing

I went for the first time yesterday after much research trying to find a new hairdresser and saw all the great reviews for here. I was after a cut, root colour and balayage through the ends, I have very thick, shoulder length hair. My hairdresser took the time to get to know what I was after and setting realistic expectations for how long it would take to get there.

The end result is something I’m okay with, the colours nice. The cut is okay, sitting a bit heavy with my thick hair.

The experience itself left a bit to be desired. I left with quite visible dye marks on my forehead, and the colour was not properly rinsed from the base of my scalp resulting in a light rash. These are all things I’ve experienced elsewhere, but I expected a bit more care and consideration when paying so much for this service. It was by the far the most expensive service I’ve had at $366.95. I’ve requested the same services before at different similar level hairdressing salons and have only paid $280 max.

I was given the quoted $366 after my initial chat with the hairdresser, and would have been happy paying for this if the experience and the result were excellent. However that wasn’t the case in this instance. I hope that my feedback will be taken constructively and I wish the salon all the best in the future.
